Le m\u00e9tal en fusion est ensuite laiss\u00e9 \u00e0 se solidifier jusqu&#039;\u00e0 former une brame semi-finie qui est ensuite lamin\u00e9e en finition. Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 permet de couler des pi\u00e8ces m\u00e9talliques de longueur continue. Dans ce cas, le m\u00e9tal en fusion est aliment\u00e9 en continu dans le moule, dont la longueur est ind\u00e9termin\u00e9e. Lors de la coul\u00e9e, le m\u00e9tal en fusion descend progressivement dans le moule, sa longueur augmentant au fil du temps. La continuit\u00e9 du processus permet de r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt de l&#039;acier coul\u00e9. De plus, elle contribue \u00e0 la standardisation de la production. Enfin, la ma\u00eetrise rigoureuse du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 r\u00e9duit les erreurs, ce qui se traduit par des pi\u00e8ces moul\u00e9es d&#039;acier de meilleure qualit\u00e9. Elle accro\u00eet la productivit\u00e9 et am\u00e9liore les rendements.<br \/>\nLa coul\u00e9e continue \u00e9limine certains probl\u00e8mes des m\u00e9thodes de fonderie traditionnelles. Par exemple, elle supprime les probl\u00e8mes de tuyauterie, de structure et de composition chimique, fr\u00e9quents avec la coul\u00e9e en lingots. Tous les produits de fonderie obtenus par coul\u00e9e continue pr\u00e9sentent des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s uniformes. La vitesse de solidification du m\u00e9tal en fusion est \u00e9galement dix fois plus rapide qu&#039;avec la coul\u00e9e en lingots.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<h4 style=\"font-size: 20px;color: #008bca;text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\" >Le processus<\/h4>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>La coul\u00e9e continue pr\u00e9sente plusieurs avantages, mais c&#039;est aussi un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 qui n\u00e9cessite des ressources sp\u00e9cifiques. C&#039;est pourquoi il est utilis\u00e9 uniquement dans les industries exigeant un rendement \u00e9lev\u00e9 en acier coul\u00e9. Le m\u00e9tal est d&#039;abord liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 puis vers\u00e9 dans un r\u00e9partiteur, un conteneur qui alimente le moule dans lequel l&#039;acier sera coul\u00e9. Le r\u00e9partiteur est plac\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 25 \u00e0 30 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du sol et le processus de coul\u00e9e repose enti\u00e8rement sur la gravit\u00e9. Le r\u00e9partiteur est aliment\u00e9 en continu en acier liquide pour assurer la continuit\u00e9 du processus. L&#039;ensemble du processus est contr\u00f4l\u00e9 afin de garantir un \u00e9coulement r\u00e9gulier de l&#039;acier liquide dans le r\u00e9partiteur. De plus, les impuret\u00e9s et les scories sont filtr\u00e9es dans le r\u00e9partiteur avant leur introduction dans le moule. L&#039;entr\u00e9e du moule est remplie de gaz inertes pour emp\u00eacher toute r\u00e9action entre l&#039;acier liquide et les gaz ambiants, comme l&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne. Le m\u00e9tal liquide circule rapidement dans le moule sans s&#039;y solidifier compl\u00e8tement. Le moule est refroidi par un flux d&#039;eau circulant sur sa surface ext\u00e9rieure. En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la solidification de l&#039;acier se fait d&#039;abord le long des parois du moule, puis progressivement vers l&#039;int\u00e9rieur. L&#039;\u00e9vacuation du m\u00e9tal hors du moule est assur\u00e9e par diff\u00e9rents jeux de rouleaux. Pendant qu&#039;un jeu de rouleaux courbe le m\u00e9tal, un autre le redresse.
